PM Kisan Nidhi installment will be released before Diwali, Prime Minister will send 20 thousand crores to farmers’ account

New Delhi, Bureau. Before Diwali, farmers will get the 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release this installment on October 17 at a function organized at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa. PM Modi will also address the farmers of the country after inaugurating the two-day National Agri Startup Conclave and Kisan Sammelan. More than 25 thousand advanced farming farmers from all over the country have been invited to the conference.

Before Diwali, farmers are eagerly waiting for the 12th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi of two thousand rupees. It is estimated that this time around 20 thousand crore rupees will be transferred to the bank accounts of more than 10 crore farmers. A total of Rs 2.10 lakh crore has been given in 11 installments to 11.30 crore farmers of the country from PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Before releasing the installment this time, the Ministry of Agriculture has directed all the states of the country to check the eligibility of farmers. Those whose bank account, Aadhaar number, digital details of land will not meet the prescribed standards, this time their installment can be stopped. By updating the eligibility list, only the farmers who meet the standards are likely to be given this installment.

Progressive farmers were invited

In the National Startup Conclave and Kisan Sammelan to be held on 17th and 18th October at Pusa Mela Ground, representatives of farmers who have doubled their income in the last few years on the strength of their improved farming have been invited. More than 300 startup stalls will be set up in the event. A total of more than 3000 startup entrepreneurs have been trained in the agriculture sector under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna Ki Raftaar project.

The target is to train a total of 5000 startup entrepreneurs within the next three years. Emphasis will be given to utilize the achievements of startups which have performed well in the agriculture sector. To develop startups in the country, the government has made a provision of seed fund of one thousand crore rupees.
