Preparation for war with Corona again, many hospitals including AIIMS issued guidelines
All the hospitals including Delhi’s AIIMS, RML, Lok Nayak Jayaprakash (LNJP) Hospital have once again issued guidelines regarding Corona.
The Medical Superintendent of AIIMS has issued an advisory for the staff in view of the sudden increase in the cases of Corona in various countries. At the same time, the Indian Medical Association has appealed to the public to follow Covid appropriate behavior with immediate effect. Medical Director of Loknayak Hospital Suresh Kumar appealed to the people to take preventive dose of anti-covid vaccine and take precautions and wear masks during the upcoming festive season.
Do not have more than five employees at one place: AIIMS Medical Superintendent Dr. Sanjeev Lalwani has said in an issued order that the employees have to adopt all measures to protect themselves from corona. Along with mask, apron sanitizer and cleanliness, advice has been given to maintain social distance. Do not have more than five employees at one place simultaneously. It has been said to ban visitors in the hospital offices and allow them to go with approval if necessary. In the ongoing consultation, it was said that pregnant and elderly employees should take special precautions. In case of ill health of an employee, he should inform immediately and go on leave.
LNJP: LNJP Medical Director Suresh Kumar appealed to the people to take a preventive dose of anti-covid vaccine and take precautions and wear masks during the upcoming festive season. Dr. Kumar said that at present the hospital has 450 beds for Covid patients. In which there are 50 ICU beds.
Dr. Dheeraj Bahal, Additional Medical Superintendent of RML Hospital has said in his issued order that all the employees should adopt anti-corona measures and also we have to encourage the patients and their attendants to adopt this measure.
Use ‘mask’ in public places: IMA
IMA President Dr. Sahajanand and Dr. Jayesh M. Lele have appealed in the ongoing consultation to be prepared to deal with any situation like 2021. For this, necessary instructions should be given to the concerned ministries and departments to provide medicines, oxygen supply and status of ambulance services. Everyone was advised to use face mask in all public places. Physical distance has to be maintained. Washing hands regularly with soap and water or sanitizer. Avoid going to public gatherings like marriages, political or social meetings etc. Avoid international travel.
Don’t panic, full preparation to fight against Corona: Kejriwal
New Delhi: No case of BF7 infection has been reported in Delhi so far. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave this information on Thursday after a review meeting with top officials of the Delhi government. He said that Delhi is prepared to deal with the situation of infection. Kejriwal said that we are waiting for the instructions of the central government. He said that whatever order comes from the Center, it will be strictly followed.
He said that all the cases of infection that have come to the fore are being investigated as per the instructions of the Government of India. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has the capacity to conduct infection tests up to one lakh per day. He told that eight thousand beds in Delhi are reserved separately for patients of corona infection. This time the government is preparing to provide 36 thousand beds.
The Chief Minister said that last time there was a problem regarding oxygen, but today we have the capacity to store 928 metric tonnes of oxygen. Last time the biggest problem was that cylinders were not available. All the cylinders we have now are for hospitals. Apart from this, 6 thousand cylinders are reserved, which were brought from China. Kejriwal said that so far only 24 per cent people have taken the preventive dose. He appealed that people must get this vaccine.
He told that the government has 380 ambulances and in today’s meeting, the officials have been asked to arrange more ambulances. Officers of all departments including the Chief Secretary participated in the meeting. The Chief Minister has appealed to the citizens to get preventive doses done at the earliest. According to the department, till now more than 1.4 crore people are to be given preventive dose in three categories.
