A Radha-Krishna temple was stolen 9 years ago in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The thief has not only returned all the ornaments but has also written an apology. Not only this, the thief has donated Rs 201 to the temple and himself has also given an additional Rs 100 as punishment. This act of thief has now become a topic of discussion in the whole area.

The case is of 2014. Several silver ornaments were stolen from the Radha-Krishna temple at Gopinathpur in Bhubaneswar. These included Shri Krishna’s cap, flute, bracelet and earrings. The case report was also registered but neither any clue of the thief was found nor information about the stolen jewelery was found.
Police found note
Chittaranjan Raut, in-charge of Dhauli police station, told that the police had received a note. It was written in it that the ornaments worth about four lakh rupees which were stolen from the temple are kept in a bag outside the temple. The person also wrote in the note that he had kept Rs 201 as donation for the temple and Rs 100 as penalty in the bag. He wrote that he took these ornaments when the yagya was being performed in the temple.
Now he is seeing God continuously in his dreams. The thief has not revealed his identity in this note. At the same time, the priest of the temple says that he had given up all hopes of getting the jewels in 9 years. Perhaps the thief must have realized his mistake so he returned all the ornaments.
