Speaking to reporters in Jaipur, he said, “Media should stick to truth and facts… Media should not make us fight amongst ourselves. They (media persons) should fulfill their duty and it is in the public interest..Media should support the government in reiterating on the basis of truth.” He further said, “I do not say present false figures or falsely praise us but I would like the media to run on the basis of truth. The media is under pressure from the central government, but they should look after the public interest.”
