This case pertains to Osian in Jodhpur district. Four people of the same family were murdered by slitting their throats on Tuesday night. According to preliminary information, the people of the village had informed the police after the four bodies were found in a burnt condition in a hut. After getting information about the case, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Among the dead, there is an innocent girl along with a man, two women. After the news of the murder, a crowd of people gathered at the spot in the morning. According to the police, the dead included the head of the family Poonaram Baird (55), his wife Bhanwaridevi (50), daughter-in-law Dhapu (24) and a six-month-old baby girl. Police officers including District Collector Himanshu Gupta and Superintendent of Police Rural Dharmendra Singh Yadav have reached the spot. Along with FSL, Dog Squad, DST is also involved in the investigation.
