Rampur bypoll 2022: After Azamgarh, BJP wants to win Rampur bypoll, know the reason

Rampur Election: In the election to be held on December 5, there is a contest between BJP candidate Akash Saxena and Aseem Raza as Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party have kept distance from the election.

Rampur Assembly By-election: After winning the Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha bypolls, the BJP is now eyeing the Rampur assembly seat. The party is making all out efforts to win the by-election to be held on this seat. If the Bharatiya Janata Party manages to win this seat as well, it will capture the area which was once considered to be a stronghold of the SP.

The Rampur seat has become vacant after SP leader Azam Khan lost his membership of the assembly. Azam’s legislature went to polls in 2019 after he was found guilty of using foul language in a speech during the election campaign. This seat is considered to be Azam’s stronghold. However, despite Azam’s hard work in the Rampur Lok Sabha by-election, he could not get his close Asim Raza to win. Now Asim has been made the candidate in the assembly elections also.

At the same time, BJP is focusing on getting the support of Pasmanda Muslims. The election to be held on December 5 is a contest between BJP candidate Akash Saxena and Aseem Raza as Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party have kept distance from the election. Akash had lost to Azam Khan in the assembly elections held in March. At the same time, Akash Saxena is also a complainant in many of the cases filed against Azam Khan.

Mainpuri Election: Dharmendra Yadav, who came to campaign in support of Dimple, burst into tears on the stage, the video is going viral

After winning the Rampur Lok Sabha bypoll, the party seems confident of winning again here. The party feels that Azam’s popularity has faded and he no longer has the support of the people of Rampur as before. A BJP leader said, “People are seeing the kind of person he is. The way he has cheated the people of Rampur for his personal gains, it is shameful and people have seen it all.”

Akash Saxena said, “SP has lost all those areas which were considered to be strongholds of the party. Azamgarh, Kannauj and even Rampur Lok Sabha seat is an example of this. I am confident of winning here. We are focusing on the Pasmanda community as they have been neglected in the past. We are telling them that we will fulfill our promises on the basis of population of the community in the constituency.”

BJP’s election in-charge for the bypoll, Surya Prakash Pal, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak may campaign in the constituency soon. On the other hand, SP believes that Azam Khan’s popularity is intact in the area. However, in the Rampur Lok Sabha by-election, the SP could not show any wonder here.
