Real brothers killed father, were angry with extra marital affair, burnt dead body in furnace
Pune: Police said that both the brothers were upset over their father’s relationship with another woman. So he committed the crime.
Crime News: A surprising case has come to light from Pune in Maharashtra. Here two brothers together killed their father. Both the brothers did not stop at this, after this they burnt their father’s dead body in a furnace of their snacks making factory on 15-16 December.
Both the brothers who executed their father’s murder are college students. Police said that to hide the crime, he removed his father’s bones from the furnace and threw them in the Indrayani river. Police said Sujit, 21, and Abhijeet, 18, killed their father because of his extramarital affair.
The family had settled in the farm some time ago
Police officer Kishore Patil, who was part of the team that disclosed the case, said that the family had shifted from Osmanabad to Moi near Khed shortly before. After coming here, he set up a snacks unit and started his own business.
The police officer said that both the sons of the deceased Dhananjay are pursuing higher education in Pimpri Chinchwad. Dhananjay came in contact with a woman through social media and started dating her. Angered by this, his wife left the house and started living with her relatives. He told that during investigation it was found that Sujit and Abhijeet first hit their father on the head and then suffocated him with a pillow. After this they burnt the dead body.
How did the police get a clue of the murder?
Police said that the woman with whom Dhananjay was in contact on social media got suspicious after the deceased did not reply for several days. She reached Pune from her home in Vidarbha. When the woman reached Pune, Sujit and Abhijeet themselves went to the police on December 19 and lodged a complaint against their father.
The police officer said that during the investigation, he realized that both the brothers were evasive in answering the police. On strict questioning, he confessed to the murder and told the police how he destroyed the evidence of the murder. Based on the statements of both the brothers, the police have registered a case of murder against them.
