“Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ earns more than opening day 9 growth stronger than The Kashmir Files-Kerala Story

Even blockbusters haven’t seen this kind of growth

As far as blockbusters released after the lockdown are concerned, the films that saw the biggest rise in the second Friday-Saturday period were “Drishyam 2” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”. Ajay Devgan’s “Drishyam 2” gained almost 80% more on the second Saturday than on Friday. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which had earned 6.52 million rupees on its second Friday, collected 11.35 million rupees on Saturday, with a jump of almost 74%. The second Saturday of ‘Pathan’, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ and ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ jumped by almost 65%.

The second Saturday of ‘The Kashmir Files’, the biggest surprise hit after the lockdown, brought in over 30% compared with Friday. The jump was also just over 50% for “The Kerala Story”, which surprised everyone at the box office.
