RSS: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has intensified its preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In view of this, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has come on a tour of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. During this period, Mohan Bhagwat participated in many meetings of Awadh region and also expressed his opinion on issues like Love Jihad, Land Jihad and religious conversion.

The RSS on Sunday said its functionaries in the Awadh region have been asked to intensify public awareness in rural areas against anti-social and anti-national activities like love jihad, land jihad and religious conversion. An RSS official said that on the second day of the four-day meeting held at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Lucknow on Sunday, the main focus of the discussion included the issue of land jihad, love jihad and conversion.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who is on a four-day visit to Lucknow, presided over the meeting. Bhagwat, who reached Lucknow on September 22, will also hold a meeting today i.e. on Monday regarding the expansion of organizational activities of RSS before next year’s Lok Sabha elections. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat reached Lucknow on 22 September.

An RSS official said, ‘Land Jihad is a new activity in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh bordering Nepal. People are grabbing the lands of Hindus to build mosques, tombs and dargahs there. He said that land jihad, love jihad, conversion of Hindus by Muslims and Christians are matters of concern. RSS is already running public awareness programs against such activities. Now it has been decided to run this awareness program faster.

RSS will increase branches

In the meeting, the RSS leadership also decided to carry out its activities to increase its shakhas and make its presence felt in every sector and area of ​​the society. Sources said that during the meeting, concern was expressed over the recent comments made by DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin on Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism.

Similarly, RSS will also work to propagate its ideas among the young generation. “The Sangh is committed to providing the deprived people their rights and dignity,” the RSS said. An RSS functionary said, “We will reach out to Dalits and tribals and help them get their rights.”
