By releasing the video clip, the salon was told wrong

Sadiq Akif Mahzar, a spokesman for the Taliban-ruled Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Virtue and Vice, listed several such salons in a video clip released on Thursday. He said that eyebrow shaping, use of make-up, using other people’s hair to enhance a woman’s natural hair, etc. are against Islam.

Mahjar said that beauty salons cause financial problems for the groom’s family during marriages as the bride’s family has to bear the cost of the bride’s make-up here. They say that this is an unnecessary exercise, due to which money is wasted and the groom’s family has to bear the expenses of going to the salon for more women from the bride’s side.

Significantly, after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, many decisions have been taken against women. The Taliban believe that giving freedom to women is against Islam. His steps have also been strongly condemned at the international level.
