ED Raid in Delhi: After Delhi’s former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain, the Enforcement Directorate has now started cracking down on Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. ED has started raids against his close relatives. This raid is being conducted in connection with the liquor policy of Delhi.
The ED raided the residence of Sanjay Singh’s associates Ajit Tyagi and Sarvesh Mishra on Wednesday (May 24, 2024) morning. Sanjay Singh has attacked the Modi government regarding this action of the ED and said that the ED is misusing its power at the behest of the Modi government.
He said, “I exposed the dictatorship and hooliganism of the ED of the Modi government in front of the whole country. Told the whole country the truth about how ED is trying to implicate people in the liquor scam by misusing its power and misusing its organization. When they didn’t get anything, they accepted my mistake. Now raiding the houses of my colleagues.
He further said, “It was learned this morning that raids have been conducted at the house of my colleagues. I want to tell ED that in any way to adopt any weapon, adopt it, I will not stop in front of you, I will not bow down. We are not going to make any compromise in front of the Modi government. We will fight with you, we will expose you in front of the whole country how the ED is being misused. I will keep highlighting this. Even if you have to go to the Supreme Court or the High Court. Will continue my fight against bullying and dictatorship.”
Sanjay Singh warned the government, saying, “This is dictatorship by force which is being done by ED at the behest of Modi government. I want to say clearly, you adopt all the tricks, you have got nothing against me. Now raiding the houses of my colleagues and trying to harass me will not continue at all and will continue to fight against it. Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are in jail in connection with Delhi’s liquor policy. Jain was arrested last year, while Sisodia was arrested this year.
