Satish started his career with Boney Kapoor’s film Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai. In this film, the actor played the role of a flower vendor. Boney promised to pay Rs 200 as fee. Even though the role in the film was small, Boney Kapoor liked his acting very much. That’s why Boney Kapoor gave 500 rupees instead of 200 to Satish. Boney Kapoor liked Satish’s work so much that he made up his mind to take Satish in his next film Mr. India as well. Satish Kaushik wanted to commit suicide

During an interview, Boney Kapoor while talking about Satish had said that Satish was even ready to commit suicide. Sometimes Satish wanted to get down from the moving vehicle and sometimes wanted to jump from the hotel room. This talk had gone till Hyderabad. On this, Satish also shared an anecdote and told that ‘I was lucky that I was on the first floor. And there was food on the ground floor below.
