Sharad Pawar listened carefully to Ajit faction but did not say a single word, Praful Patel said – requested to keep NCP united

Once again there is a stir in the politics of Maharashtra. Leader of Ajit faction has arrived to meet Sharad Pawar.

After the split in NCP, efforts are being made by Ajit faction to pacify Sharad Pawar. On Monday, for the second consecutive day, Ajit reached the YB Chavan Center in Mumbai to persuade faction leader Sharad Pawar. However, like on Sunday, even today Sharad Pawar listened carefully to Ajit’s group but did not utter a word.

Ajit faction leader Praful Patel told the media, “Ajit Pawar, Sunil Tatkare and I met Sharad Pawar at YB Chavan Centre, Mumbai. We again appealed to him to keep the NCP united. He listened to our words carefully but did not say anything on them.

Earlier, the leaders of Ajit faction had also met Sharad Pawar on Sunday. After this meeting Sharad Pawar had said that he cannot support BJP and will continue his progressive politics.

Ajit group had come to meet Sharad Pawar without appointment

After Sunday’s meeting, Ajit Pawar faction leader Praful Patel had told the media that he requested Sharad Pawar to keep the party united. He said, “We came here without any appointment. Sharad Pawar did not react to our point but he listened to us carefully.

Hours after the meeting, Sharad Pawar said that it was clear that he could not support the BJP and would continue with his progressive politics. Addressing the workers of Nashik Youth Wing, he said that NCP has always been against divisive politics. He urged the workers to stick to the principles of inclusiveness, equality, secularism and democracy.
