It hasn’t been easy, but the team’s hard work has paid off in the last two WTC cycles.
Rohit Sharma also roared
In this video of BCCI, Captain Rohit Sharma has said, “I believe we have played very good cricket in this cycle of WTC. We were challenged many times and not just a few players but all the players showed great spirit to overcome it.
Rohit heaped praise on his teammates who made a spectacular comeback after the disappointment of losing to New Zealand in the 2021 final. He said, “It is a cycle of two years and during this time we played a lot of Test matches. Many players played in this cycle. On every occasion some player took charge. He did the kind of performance we were expecting from him.”
