‘The world is seeing a new India due to the leadership of PM Modi’, S Jaishankar said – this is a new beginning for me

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday (May 25) said that the world is seeing a new India because of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Today the world is seeing a new India because of PM Modi’s leadership,” Jaishankar said on the Prime Minister’s arrival in India after concluding his three-nation tour to Japan, Papua New Guinea and Australia.

The External Affairs Minister further said, “The PM of Papua New Guinea said that for him the Prime Minister is a ‘Vishwa Guru’. The Australian Prime Minister called PM Modi ‘The Boss’.” The External Affairs Minister further said that he would like to express his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi. He said, “If today India’s image, India’s prestige, India’s place in the world is so high, it is because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I would just say that this is a new beginning for me.

The Australian Prime Minister had said in his mind that PM Modi is the ‘boss’

S Jaishankar also shared the anecdote of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese calling PM Modi as BOSS and said that I had accompanied the Prime Minister on this tour. I want to tell how the world sees our Prime Minister. He further said, “The Prime Minister of Australia calling PM Modi as ‘The Boss’ was not a part of his speech. It was out of his mind. According to S Jaishankar, after the program the Australian PM had told him that it was in my mind to call Modi ‘The Boss’. It is not part of any paper or speech. It was my inner feeling.
