Out of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400, the company has released the price of Speed 400 but the price of Scrambler 400X has not been disclosed yet.
Triumph has launched the long-awaited Triumph 400 Twins in India. The company has launched the Triumph Speed 400 at a starting price of Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The first 10,000 customers can buy the Street Fighter at Rs 2.23 lakh, ex-showroom. The pricing of the Scrambler 400X will be announced later.
Bajaj will look after sales and service
The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are the first motorcycles from the Bajaj-Triumph collaboration and will be built by Bajaj, sold by Bajaj and serviced by Bajaj.
Triumph Speed 400: Design
The Triumph Speed 400 is a street centric motorcycle and its design has been inspired by the larger Triumph Speed 900. In keeping with its modern-retro styling, the Speed 400 features a blacked-out engine, machined wings and a round headlight. A side-slung exit.
Triumph Speed 400: Hardware
The motorcycle gets USD forks, rear monoshock, a semi-digital instrument cluster, 17-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, traction control, LED headlights, bar-end mirrors. The BAS is non-switchable on the Speed 400, while the Scrambler 400X gets switchable ABS.
Triumph Speed 400: Frame and Platform
The Scrambler 400X is based on the same platform as the Speed 400, though its design is derived from Triumph’s Scrambler lineup. The Triumph Scrambler 400X features a blacked-out engine with a straight drive position, a side-slung exhaust and mechanized fins.

Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X – Engine Specifications
Both the motorcycles are offered with the same 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine generates power of 39.5bhp and peak torque of 37.5Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
