Uddhav Thackeray will get another big blow! This close friend of son Aditya can leave

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray are expected to suffer another setback. Rahul Kanal, who is very close to him, may join Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena.

Rahul Kanal is a well-known face in Bandra area and is considered close to Aditya since the formation of the Yuva Sena 10 years ago. He first left the WhatsApp group of the Yuva Sena Core Committee, saying he was upset with the functioning of the panel. Kanal was appointed as a trustee of the Sai Baba’s temple trust, Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) in Shirdi and was also a member of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) education committee in 2017.

The Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) on Friday suspended all office-bearers of Yuva Sena from Kanal and Bandra West. He then took to Twitter and said, “Feeling sad!!! We know very well who has done this but removing people who have worked for you without listening is arrogance and you can remove me but not those people who have worked day and night till now. Come on it is good that everyone should know what is ego!!!”

In another tweet, he apologized to the officials and said, “Jai Maharashtra!!! I am sad for all our real workforce who worked day and night and you have to face this situation because of me and that too because of what you stand for, this is just the beginning, thank you. The modern face of the party, Kanal is close to many celebrities from Bollywood and the entertainment industry.

Mere opposition to Sharia cannot be the basis of UCC: Shiv Sena

Shiv Sena (UBT) has also reacted amid the uproar across the country regarding the Uniform Civil Code. He says that only opposition to Sharia cannot be the basis of UCC. The party also emphasized that UCC also means equality for all in the eyes of law and justice. Sharia is Islamic religious law based on the teachings of the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, which are followed by the people of Muslim society.

In the party’s mouthpiece Saamana, Uddhav Thackeray’s Sena said that merely opposing Sharia law of Muslims cannot be the basis of Uniform Civil Code. Equality for all in the eyes of law and justice is also a part of the Uniform Civil Code. It said that if corrupt people, ministers and businessmen belonging to the ruling party are given protection and leaders of opposition parties are charged under anti-corruption laws, then what kind of law is it.
