Umesh Pal Murder: The Prayagraj Development Authority demolished the ancestral house of Mohammed Ghulam, accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, by running a bulldozer on Monday. However, Mohammad Ghulam’s brother and former president of BJP Minority Morcha, Mahanagar Rahil Hasan claimed that his brother Mohammad Ghulam had sold his share in this ancestral house.

An authority official told that the map of this house was not near and it was made illegally. He told that the administration team reached Ghulam’s house located at Rasulabad, Teliarganj under Shivkuti police station at around 12:00 noon. After getting the house vacated, the administration barricaded both the roads in front of the house and two bulldozers were used to demolish the house.

Eyewitnesses said that the demolition was completed in about four hours. During this, a large number of people kept watching the demolition from their rooftops and from the other side of the barricade. A large number of police forces were deployed on the spot.

Rahil Hasan told the media, “We have been depositing house tax and electricity bills on time. Bhai (Ghulam) has done very wrong things and our whole family is against him. We have decided that if something like this (killing in the encounter) happens, we will not even take his body.”

He said, “Our family is innocent, but the whole family is being blamed for this incident. The brother had sold his share in this ancestral house and had asked for a place to stay for some time, saying that he would shift once he gets his house built. He was given a room to stay.”

Rahil Hasan said, “But this could not happen and today the roof is being removed from our heads. The whole family is suffering the punishment for their actions.

It is worth mentioning that on March 3, BJP Metropolitan President Ganesh Kesarwani disbanded the BJP Minority Morcha, removing Rahil Hasan from the post of its president, after the involvement of Mohammad Ghulam in the Umesh Pal murder case came to the fore. Mohammad Ghulam is one of the five main accused on whom the government has announced a reward of Rs five lakh.
