Umesh Pal murder: Atiq’s wife Shaista, Guddu Muslim and Sabir will not be able to flee abroad, UP police issued lookout notice

The Umesh Pal murder case is almost three months away, but the UP STF has not got any clue of Shaista Parveen, Guddu Muslim and Sabir, wife of mafia Atiq Ahmed. In view of the apprehension of these three absconding abroad, a lookout notice has been issued against them. STF fears that all three may run abroad. Continuous raids are being conducted in search of all three but till now they are far from being caught. The UP Police has already announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on Shaista Parveen.
According to the information, Prayagraj Prayagraj police had sent its report to the state government. After this, a lookout notice was issued against all three. This notice will be effective for one year. If any of the three accused tries to leave the country, the investigating agencies will inform the Prayagraj police. Let us inform that on April 19, a raid was conducted in Kaushambi of Uttar Pradesh in search of Shaista. However, Shaista managed to dodge the police.
Earlier on April 25, the Uttar Pradesh government suspended Atiq’s brother-in-law Akhlaq Ahmed, a health department doctor, for allegedly involved in unethical activities. Dr. Akhlaq Ahmed is currently lodged in Prayagraj’s Naini Jail. He was working at Bhavanpur Community Health Center in Meerut. He is accused of providing explosives to absconding shooters and giving shelter to Guddu Muslim after the murder of Umesh Pal in Prayagraj. Akhlaq Ahmed is the husband of Ayesha Noori, sister of gangster Atiq Ahmed.
What is Lookout Notice?
Lookout notice is also known as Lookout circular. It is a circular that is issued by the officials of the agency to ensure that the person named in the criminal case does not leave the country. It is issued in such cases when there is a possibility of absconding of the accused abroad. In some cases, the police can approach the court to ban the movement of the person outside the country. Officers of the rank of deputy secretary, joint secretary or above of a state have the right to issue notices. At the same time, the District Magistrate, SP, Interpol Officer also has this right.
