A video from Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh is going viral on social media in which a uniformed forest worker is seen tying a man to a tree and beating him. The man is shouting loudly and again repeating not to say the mistake but the uniformed policeman is continuously beating the man with a stick. When this video went viral, there was an uproar.
The video is being told of the recent forest department of Mirzapur. According to the information, action was being taken against those poaching in the forest. Some people were also challaned. While talking to Jansatta, CO Lalganj has said that the accused was a hunter, he also had a weapon. He has been sent to jail but action is being taken against the accused forest personnel regarding the assault incident.
According to media reports, the victim seen in the viral video says that his house is near the forest. The people of the forest department caught hold of him and tied him to the tree and then thrashed him. He says that he has also been challaned in a fake case.
