UP Nikay Chunav 2023 Result: BJP fielded 395 Muslim candidates in UP civic elections

The BJP has fielded Muslim candidates for the posts of presidents of 6 Municipal Councils and 32 Nagar Panchayats. There are 18 Muslim candidates in the fray for the post of Nagar Panchayat President.

In a special experiment, the Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Muslim candidates for most of the posts for the Uttar Pradesh municipal elections.
