hyundai exter
Hyundai Motors is about to launch its smallest SUV in the micro SUV segment, the Hyundai Xtor in the Indian market very soon. The company has opened its booking window before the launch. The new Hyundai Exter will sit below the Venue in the company’s line-up. The Exeter will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT, along with the company will also offer it with a CNG option.
Tata Punch iCNG
Tata Motors will soon introduce the Punch iCNG edition of its popular sub-compact SUV in India. The company has already launched CNG variants of Tiago, Tigor, Tiago NRG and Altroz in the ICNG range, after which Tata Punch will be the company’s fifth CNG car. It will get Tata’s innovative twin-cylinder technology and will be powered by a 76 bhp 1.2-litre bio fuel engine, mated only to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Kia Sonet facelift
Kia India is preparing to launch the facelifted version of one of its most successful cars, the Sonnet. It has been spotted several times during testing in India. The Kia Sonet facelift will get updated exteriors and interiors with new features. It will be powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol mill, 1.5-litre diesel engine and will be offered with multiple transmission options.
Tata Nexon facelift
Tata Motors is also preparing to maintain its dominance in the sub-compact SUV segment, due to which the company is preparing to launch the Tata Nexon facelift very soon and it is likely to be launched by August 2023. It will get major design tweaks, new features and updated powertrain options. The facelifted Nexon will be offered with petrol and diesel engine options with manual and automatic transmission.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The last name in this list of upcoming SUVs is Maruti Suzuki’s off-road SUV Jimny 5 Door, whose price will be announced by the company next month. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be launched with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed AT option. All Grip Pro 4X4 system has been added to it for better off-road performance.
