Who Was The Prankster On The Sets Of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Love Story’? Ranveer Singh gave a funny answer after listening to the question: ‘For 12 years…’
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt reached New Delhi to launch the latest track of their upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, during which Ranveer Singh was asked something to which he replied in a very funny way.
Actor Ranveer Singh is high on energy when he comes on stage and he once again displayed his energy during the launch of the new song ‘Ve Kamaleya’ from the upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film stars Ranveer and Alia Bhatt in lead roles and both were in Delhi for the song launch. When the actor was asked who was the prankster on the sets of the film, he said that he has been hearing this question ever since he has been working.
Ranveer and Alia reveal that there are no pranksters on film sets. Ranveer said, “For 12 years I have been working and for 12 years this question keeps coming! The actor said in a funny and dramatic way, who is going to play pranks on the set.”
He then joked, “Prank koi nahi karta, kaam karne jaate hain wahan hum log. There is only one prankster, our boss Ajay Devgan.”
Aaliya said, “No one pulls pranks, we pull each other’s legs.”
Ranveer also admitted to playing pranks on each other, “We used to play pranks on each other a lot and since we are such good friends, there is very little filter.”
The actor said he got emotional when he suddenly realized during the shooting of the film that he got to share screen space with veteran actor Dharmendra with Rocky and Rani’s love story.
He said, “On the first day I shot with Dharamji. We came in the morning, locked the scene and then started shooting. I took some time before starting the scene as I had to come face to face with Dharamji. I looked up to start the performance and that’s when I thought, ‘Oh my god, it’s Dharmendra! ‘It took me a while to collect myself as the action was spoken but I will definitely remember it as it was unreal to share space with such a legend. This is a huge opportunity for me, straight out of Imagination.”
Alia said working with legends like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan was a great learning and memorable experience for her.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar, will hit the theaters on July 28.
