Wrestlers Write to BJP MPS’s: Wrestlers sitting on strike since April 23 got a big relief on Sunday. The ad-hoc committee has decided to look after the affairs of the Wrestling Federation of India by taking away all his rights from Brij Bhushan. Till now the wrestlers have got the support of many political parties, however till now no one from BJP has reached to meet the players. For this reason, wrestlers have now taken a big step.
Letter written to women MPs of BJP
The wrestlers sitting on dharna have written an open letter to BJP’s woman MP (Member of Parliament) seeking her support. Vinash Phogat said, ‘When you talk about the safety of women, you are a partner in their fight, then we are also your daughters, we also have respect.’ Till now, apart from Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi and Congress Party’s Priyanka Gandhi, many women’s organizations have reached Jantar Mantar in support of the wrestlers.
Appeal to girls across the country as well
Vinesh further said, ‘We are writing an open letter which will either be delivered by hand or emailed. We hope that our words will reach her and she will come to support us. Along with this, Vinesh also said that she appeals to the girls of the country to show courage and speak openly about sexual harassment.
Bajrang Punia happy with IOA’s decision
Bajrang Punia looked quite happy with the IOA’s decision. “The IOA statement is our first step towards victory. We will keep fighting till we get justice. Where did the players say that until Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is not arrested, he will not return from the dharna. Now these players have started their training at Jantar Mantar itself.
