WTC Final: Team India engaged in practice as soon as they landed in England, BCCI shared the video
BCCI has released a video of Team India’s practice session. In this video, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur and Akshar Patel are seen doing catching practice. All the players were seen in the new training kit of the team.
Some players and support staff of Team India have reached London to face Australia in the final of the World Test Championship. Virat Kohli was the first to leave for London. The team has started practicing for the WTC Finals starting from 7th June. On Thursday, the players of the team organized the first net session. In this, Umesh Yadav, Akshar Patel and Shardul Thakur practiced with the support staff.
Catching practice of players in new training kit
A video of this practice session has been released by the BCCI. In this video released on Twitter, Umesh, Akshar and Shardul are doing catching practice with the support staff of the team. In the video, Indian players are seen in the new training kit. Let us tell you that this new training kit of the Indian team has been prepared by Adidas and it was unveiled on Thursday itself. Adidas has recently become the new sponsor of the Indian team. Jay Shah signed the deal last week. This deal between the board and Adidas will run till 2025.
Coach Rahul Dravid also reached London
Let us tell you that along with the players of the team, the support staff and head coach Rahul Dravid have also reached London for the WTC final. Apart from this, batting coach Vikram Rathore, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and fielding coach T Dileep have also reached London. For this Test match, the remaining players of the team will reach London after the IPL final. It includes the names of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Ajinkya Rahane.
