Yamaha RX100 is a popular bike of its time i.e. 90s, which is going to be launched in the market with new features and specifications.
Yamaha RX100 It was a very popular bike of the 90s in India, which was very much liked among the youth for its speed and mileage. Although the company has stopped the production of this bike many years ago, but after seeing the craze of this bike among the people, the company is going to launch it once again with updated engine and specification.
According to reports, the 2-stroke engine found in the Yamaha RX 100 will now be changed to 4-stroke, which will increase its power and peak torque. The company can launch it in the 98 cc single cylinder market, which generates power of 11 hp and peak torque of 10.39 Nm. This engine will be mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
But will this bike get the old feel when it comes with the new engine, this is the big question which is roaming in the minds of the people who like this bike.
Talking about the design and looks of the bike, according to the reports, the company is going to keep the design of this bike as it was in the old bike but along with round shape headlamp and tail lamp, besides its turn signal indicator will also be given in round shape.
Apart from this, if we talk about the new features given in the bike, then according to the reports, the company can give digital instrument console, digital speedometer, digital trip meter and digital odomer in it inside the old design. In addition, hi-tech features like Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging port can also be added to it.
Talking about the braking system of the new avatar of Yamaha RX 100, the company is going to offer it with spoke wheels to give it the same old look, with which only drum brakes can be installed in both the wheels.
Talking about mileage, this bike is liked for its mileage even earlier, so it can be estimated that after coming with the updated engine, this bike can give a mileage of 75 to 85 kilometers per liter.
The company has not shared any information regarding the launch date and price of the bike, but according to reports, it can be offered in the second quarter of 2023 with an initial price of Rs 80,000.
