Raising the issue of Agniveers, he said, “Earlier the youth used to serve in the army for 15 years and get pension, but Narendra Modi thought that the pension should be set aside, train for 6 months, then hold the gun, stay in the job for 4 years. , then you will be kicked out. After this you will be unemployed. This is New India.”

He said that this is a serious problem in western UP ie sugarcane belt. It is up to crores of rupees. Talking about rising prices, “increasing unemployment”, Rahul said, “those opposing the farm laws laid down their lives for the welfare of the farming community, but there was no effect on the government which is mute.” The scheme and the fact that the government acted “for the benefit of some corporates”.

Rahul Gandhi said, “I walk in the (Bharat Jodo) Yatra wearing a T-shirt. Many children of poor farmer laborers walk with me in the journey wearing torn clothes, but the media does not ask why the children of poor farmers and laborers are walking without sweaters/jackets in the winter season. The question on my T-shirt is not the real issue, but the children, farmers and laborers of India walking around without warm clothes in winter is the real issue.”
