Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma recently said that he does not know Shah Rukh Khan. Although now he has tweeted claiming that Shahrukh Khan had called him.
Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ is releasing in theaters on January 25. The film is being opposed in many parts of the country. People are demanding a boycott of the film. In fact, many people are objecting to the ‘saffron colored bikini’ worn by Deepika Padukone in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ of the film.
Along with this, there is a demand to change or remove some dialogues of the film. Meanwhile, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also asked on the Pathan controversy that who is Shahrukh Khan? He doesn’t know anything about him or his film. Meanwhile, the CM tweeted that Shahrukh Khan had called him at 2 am.
What did CM Himanta write by tweeting
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted that ‘Bollywood actor Mr. Shahrukh Khan called me at 2 am. He has expressed concern over an incident that took place in Guwahati during the screening of his film. To this I assured him that it is the duty of the state government to maintain law and order. We will take action on this and ensure that no such untoward incident happens.
What did the CM tell the journalists
In a press conference in Guwahati, the CM was questioned by journalists on the Pathan controversy, while replying to this, the Chief Minister said, ‘Who is Shahrukh Khan? I don’t know Shah Rukh, media persons had reportedly questioned about the protest by Bajrang Dal workers who created ruckus at a cinema hall in the city’s Narengi on Friday.
Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan is to be screened in this theatre. On this CM had said that ‘Khan has not called me, because whenever there is any problem, many Bollywood people have called me from time to time. If Khan calls me, I will look into the matter seriously. Action will be taken on this, if some people have tried to take the law into their hands then action will be taken against them.

One user wrote that ‘You did not recognize, now how have you come on line’.
