Bail of Satyendar Jain: ED’s arguments against Satyendar Jain’s bail

The ED made strong arguments against the bail of Aam Aadmi Party minister Satyendar Jain. The agency said that Jain is a very influential leader. He used his influence to not only convert a lot of black money into white but also cleverly erased the evidence. The ED said that it would be wrong to release him on bail, as he can manipulate further.

Presenting the arguments on behalf of the ED in the court of Special Judge Vikas Dhul of Rouse Avenue Court, SV Raju said that Satyendar Jain was a very influential leader. He not only converted black money into white but also destroyed the evidence. He said that he erased his dark exploits by fabricating false evidence.

The ASG cited JP Mehta. He said that he was a strong link between the Kolkata-based hawala operators and the alleged companies controlled by Jain. He said that Jain was the kingpin of the whole case. He said that Jain had separated himself from the dubious companies only on paper. Whereas in reality he himself was controlling all the companies.

He said that the five companies mentioned in this case were operating only on paper. He had nothing to do with his business. He said that a charge sheet has been filed in the case. The court has also accepted this. It has not even been challenged from anywhere. The hearing of the case will continue on November 9.

Taking cognizance of the case registered by the CBI, the ED has registered a money laundering case against Jain. The CBI alleges that Jain acquired a lot of assets between 2015 and 2017. These were in the names of many people. Jain was controlling all these companies. He was taking advantage of them. According to the agency, Jain was the master mind of all the gimmicks. He was running the whole game.
