So they are shifting the release dates of their films. This thing has settled in his heart and mind that films are going through a bad phase. Recently, films like Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chadha, Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu and Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, Ajay Devgan’s Thank Gaad, Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera were thrashed. Not only filmmakers, but big actors are also extending the release date of their films. Most producers try to release their films after six months. In such a situation, the question arises whether this will ensure the success of the films? Are Bollywood’s bad times at present behind the failure of films? Or is there a flaw in the filmmaking? One look…

Recently the trailer of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer film Adipurush was released. It didn’t get much attention. After this, the date of its performance was changed from 23 January 2023 to June 2023. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 which was supposed to release on Eid will now release on next Diwali. Salman Khan’s second film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, which was supposed to release in December, will now release on Eid next year.

Similarly, the date of Katrina Kaif’s next film Merry Christmas has also been pushed, which is yet to be decided. Tiger Shroff’s film Ganpat will also come next year only in June. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan will come on 25 January 2023 instead of 2 March 2022. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s film Rakhi Aur Rani’s love story was supposed to release on February 14, Valentine’s Day. Now this too has slipped.

Even before this, some big films got beaten due to long time taken in production and release. Like Boney Kapoor’s Tabu and Sanjay Kapoor starrer Prem came after five years and fell flat. Similarly, Boney Kapoor’s another film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ starring Sridevi also failed. Aamir Khan’s film Lal Singh Chadha was also being made for a long time. This also failed. Thugs of Hindostan starring Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan also had a bad fate.

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s film Ukti is currently being watched by the audience. Sooraj said that he knows that the era of failed films is going on. But I thought that in such a situation, if my film also fails, there will be no regrets. There will definitely be self-satisfaction and happiness that I could make a film on my favorite story with my favorite actors. I made this film with all my heart and all of us put in a lot of hard work.

That is to say, if a film doesn’t work, it is not because of bad timing, bad mood of the audience, or bad planetary positions on Bollywood, but because of bad film making. Which the audience is denying. If the film is good then there will be no need to advance the release date. Because in today’s era, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Utthi have become successful. The success of these films is proof that whatever be the era, if the film is made well, it will definitely run.
