Clash in NDA on Muslim reservation issue? TDP gives big statement in Andhra on BJP’s announcement in Telangana

Lok Sabha Election 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said during the election campaign that if BJP comes to power in Telangana, it will end religion-based reservation. After this statement, his ally TDP in Andhra Pradesh is in trouble. The reason for this is that like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh also has 4 percent Muslim reservation. Whereas former Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu said during a rally in Annamaya that this Muslim reservation will remain intact.

On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party YSRCP is attacking the opposition on Muslim reservation through videos of BJP leaders on social media. Regarding this, TDP leader General Secretary and Chandrababu Naidu’s son N Lokesh Naidu said that TDP has always been and will always be a secular party. We will not snatch anyone’s quota. No one should be worried about this.

Chandrababu Naidu has always said that socially and economically backward communities should get the benefits of reservation. Lokesh has said that TDP will only give, we will never take anything from anyone. TDP had given priority to minority welfare decades ago, hence the question of removing Muslim quota does not arise.
