CUET 2024 Exam Date: Exam date will not change due to elections, UGC Chief gave big information
CUET 2024 Exam Date: After the announcement of the general election dates in the country, the dates of many important examinations were clashing with each other due to which there was a fear in the minds of the students that the exam dates might be changed due to the election dates. One of these is CUET UG 2024 exam which will be held between May 15 to May 31. There will be no change of any kind in the dates of this examination.
NTA chief gave clarification
Admission to colleges for the academic year 2024-25 will be done through this examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). UGC chief M Jagadesh Kumar himself has made it clear that the Common University Entrance Examination for admission to graduation program courses will be held on the scheduled time and dates only.
What did the UGC Chief say?
M Jagadesh Kumar tweeted on Sunday, “As announced earlier, NTA will conduct CUET-UG between May 15 and May 31, 2024. “Two dates in this period will overlap with the election dates of May 20 and 25.” Let us tell you that on May 20, voting will be held in the country under the fifth phase and on May 25, under the sixth phase. The last phase of Lok Sabha elections will be held on June 1 and the results will be declared on June 4.
CUET registrations are going on
Please note that the process of online registration for CUET UG is still going on. Any student who wants to take admission in college after 12th can register by visiting the official website of CUET UG, cuetug.ntaonline.in till 26 March 2024. Applicants will be given a chance to edit and make corrections in their application forms in the last week of March.
