Delhi-NCR Greenfield Expressway: The people of Delhi-NCR are going to get another expressway soon. A greenfield expressway will be built to connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to the Trans Haryana Expressway. Its length will be 86 km. After the completion of this road, vehicles coming from Himachal, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir will be able to go to Mumbai without coming to Delhi. This expressway will not only reduce the traffic burden in Delhi but will also make the journey to Mumbai easier.
Which cities will the expressway connect?
Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be connected to Trans Haryana Expressway. For this, an 86 km long greenfield expressway is being prepared. This expressway will be built from Narnaul in Haryana to Alwar in Rajasthan. According to the information, this project will cost Rs 1400 crore. NHAI project director Mukesh Kumar Meena said the work has been divided into two packages. The tender process for this has started. A time frame of 2 years has been set to complete the entire project.
After the commencement of this expressway, a road will connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Highway 148B near Paniyal. Highway 148B has connectivity with Trans Haryana Expressway (Highway-152D). The connectivity between the two expressways provides direct connectivity between North India and Mumbai. This will reduce the distance from Chandigarh to Delhi, Narnaul and Jaipur.
How will Delhi-Mumbai Expressway be connected?
Now vehicles coming from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir will reach Narhaul through Trans Haryana Expressway (Highway-152D). After this this expressway will connect Highway-148B and then Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. It connects Gangheri village (on NH-152) in Kurukshetra district (near Ismailabad) with Surana village on Narnaul bypass (NH-148B) in Mahendragarh district of Haryana. Let us tell you that this already existing expressway connects 8 districts of Haryana.
