The video is of a district hospital in eastern Uttar Pradesh district, which is being shared a lot on social media. In the video, a badly injured youth is seen lying on the floor with blood splattered all around him. Blood can also be seen on the young man’s face and head. During this, a dog can be seen walking behind a man lying unconscious.
The 28-second video, which is becoming increasingly viral, shows a ward with empty beds and no doctors or nurses to be seen around.
According to Dr SK Verma, the doctor in charge of the hospital, the young man was injured in a road accident. As a result, he suffered serious injuries to his head and face. Dr. Verma claimed that the man was intoxicated and had fallen off the bed several times during treatment.
The doctor-in-charge also told that the doctor on duty and the ward boy were watching emergency cases in each other ward when the video was made. He told that later the youth was referred to a hospital in Gorakhpur.
