Galaxy S23 series smartphones launched: Samsung has finally unveiled its Galaxy S23 Series at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The latest flagship series from the South Korean company brings major upgrades over the previous Galaxy S22 series. In the new Galaxy S23 series, the company has not given a charger in the box. The company has launched three new smartphones Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra in this series as expected. Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra price

The price of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant of Samsung Galaxy S23 is $ 799 (about Rs 65,500). At the same time, the price of 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant of Galaxy S23 Plus has been kept at $ 999 (about Rs 81,900).

The premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant costs $ 1199 (about Rs 98,300). This phone will be made available in Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender color options.

The sale of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will begin on February 17. At present, information about the price of these phones in India has not been given. Details about this will be shared by Samsung on February 2. Currently, these new flagship phones are available for pre-booking in India.

Galaxy S23 specification

Galaxy S23 is the most compact and affordable handset of this series. The custom version of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset has been given in the smartphone. The phone has a 6.1-inch 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED display. The touch sampling rate of the screen is 240Hz.

Triple camera setup has been given on the rear panel in Samsung Galaxy S23. The phone has 50-megapixel primary with aperture F / 1.8, 12-megapixel ultrawide with aperture F / 2.2 and 10-megapixel telephoto lens with aperture F / 2.4. The front of the smartphone sports a punch-hole notch which houses the 12-megapixel selfie sensor. This phone comes with Android 13 based One UI 5.1.

The Galaxy S23 smartphone has been given 8 GB RAM. The phone comes in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB inbuilt storage variants. Its weight is 168 grams. To power the handset, a 3900mAh battery has been provided with 25W charging support. The handset supports wireless and reverse wireless charging.

Galaxy S23 Plus specs

The Galaxy S23 Plus smartphone has a 6.6-inch FullHD + display. The refresh rate of the screen is 120Hz AMOLED screen. The touch sampling rate of the screen is 240Hz and a customized version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset has been given in it.

Like the standard Galaxy S23, the S23 Plus also gets a triple rear camera setup with 50-megapixel primary with aperture F / 1.8, 10-megapixel telephoto with aperture F / 2.4 and 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor with aperture F / 2.2. The smartphone has a 12-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling.

The Galaxy S23 Plus smartphone comes with Android 13 based One UI 5.1. This phone has 256 GB and 512 GB inbuilt storage with 8 GB RAM. The smartphone has a 4700mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging. Samsung says that the battery can be charged up to 65 percent in just half an hour. The handset supports wireless and reverse wireless charging. The weight of the smartphone is around 196 grams.

Galaxy S23 Ultra specs

Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most premium and expensive phone of this series. A modified version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has been given in this flagship handset of Samsung. The phone has a 6.8 inch QHD + 120 Hz curved AMOLED screen. The touch sampling rate of the screen is 240Hz.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone comes with Android 13 based One UI 5.1. The phone weighs 234 grams and has a quad rear camera setup. The new Samsung phone comes with an in-house 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor. It has a 12-megapixel ultrawide with aperture F / 2.2 and two 10-megapixel telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom. However, like the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus, it gets a 12-megapixel selfie sensor.

The company says that with the 200-megapixel camera, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has better quality of pictures taken in day and night. Along with this, the problem of overexposure of photographs in low light conditions will also be reduced.
