Actress Gautami Quits BJP: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a major setback in Tamil Nadu. Actress and BJP leader Gautami Tadimalla has resigned from the party. A statement has been issued by Gautam Tadimalla, in which he has given the reason for his resignation. Gautami says that she has honored her commitment to the party, but she did not get any support from BJP. Because of this she is in the biggest crisis of her life.

Gautami Tadimalla wrote in the letter, ‘With a very heavy heart, I have decided to resign from the membership of BJP. I joined the party 25 years ago to contribute its efforts to nation building. Even with all the challenges I have faced in my life, I have respected that commitment. Yet today I am facing a very unimaginable crisis in my life. I have not received any support from party leaders. I have come to know that he is helping and supporting a person who not only cheated me but also destroyed my entire life’s earnings.

Gautami made serious allegations against Alagappan

Tadimalla further wrote in the letter, ‘I have been working since the age of 17 and my career spanned 37 years in cinema, television, radio and digital media. I have worked my entire life so that I can be financially secure at this age and also provide for my daughter’s future. I am at a point where I and my daughter should have been stable and safe, yet I am horrified to learn that Mr. C Alagappan has defrauded me of my money, property and documents.’

Accusing Mr Alagappan, Gautami wrote, ‘Alagappan approached me about 20 years ago after noticing my insecurity and isolation, as I was not only an orphan who had lost both my parents, but also a She was also the mother of a newborn baby. He inserted himself and his family into my life under the guise of a caring elderly man. It was in this situation that I handed over the sale and documents of several of my lands to him about 20 years ago, and just recently I came to know that he had defrauded me. The whole time he pretended to welcome me and my daughter as part of his family.

He further wrote that to get back my hard-earned money, properties and documents, I have followed the laws, rules and procedures of the country with full respect and faith, as every Indian citizen should do, I am sure. That justice will be served. I have filed many complaints with full faith in our Chief Minister, our police department and our judicial system, but I feel that the process is taking unnecessarily long.

Gautami also accused BJP. He wrote, ‘During the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, I was entrusted with the development of Rajapalayam constituency for the BJP and was also assured to contest from this seat. I dedicated myself to strengthening the BJP at the grassroots level for the people of Rajapalayam. However, this assurance of contesting the elections was canceled at the last moment. Despite this, I maintained my commitment to the party. However, even after 25 years of steadfast loyalty to the party, it is sad to note that there is a complete lack of support and moreover many senior members of the BJP are engaged in protecting Mr. Alagappan. Despite FIR being registered, he is absconding for the last 40 days. However, I still have hope that my Chief Minister, my police department and my judicial system will prevail and give me the justice I want.
