Leaders and workers of the ruling BJP and opposition parties have also started efforts to get tickets. Leaders in many parties have started positioning themselves prominently in front of the party high command, calling themselves strong candidates with winning seats.

In an interview to PTI, senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Pradhan said that the party has aimed to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets an opportunity to serve the country for the third term. He said, “I want to contest the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. I have already informed the party about my desire and requested it to give me a chance from Odisha. BJP’s agenda is to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi serves the country for the third time.”

When Dharmendra Pradhan was asked about all the opposition parties coming together to fight the BJP in the 2024 general elections, he said the opposition INDIA alliance is a “real challenge”.

He told PTI that the BJP’s agenda is to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi serves the country for the third term. He said, “I consider the INDIA alliance as a real challenge, because BJP and NDA do not take any election carelessly. From grassroots workers to top leaders, everyone takes each election very seriously and the Prime Minister leads us from the front.”
