Imran Khan Arrest: Ruckus is not stopping in Pakistan, 4 killed- 91 injured, many big leaders of PTI are also in custody

The situation in Pakistan has become uncontrollable since the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan’s supporters have taken to the streets and the protests are increasingly turning violent. Protests continued across Pakistan today, with at least four people killed and 91 injured in Peshawar, according to local media reports. Several leaders of Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party were arrested, including Fawad Chaudhry and Asad Umar.

Many big leaders of PTI arrested

Meanwhile, news has been received that Shah Mehmood Qureshi, another big leader of Khan’s party has also been arrested. Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been the foreign minister in the Imran government. Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar were continuously opposing the arrest of Imran Khan, after which the police took this action. Earlier, Asad Umar, general secretary of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, was also taken into custody. According to the Islamabad police, party general secretary Umar was going to the Supreme Court to challenge the arrest of party president Imran Khan, when the police arrested him for damaging state property.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s residence attacked

Supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan attacked the residence of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore on Wednesday. Police gave this information. According to the police, over 500 PTI party supporters reached the prime minister’s residence in Model Town Lahore in the early hours of Wednesday and torched vehicles parked there. The police officer said only guards were present at the Prime Minister’s residence when the miscreants attacked. They also set a police post there on fire.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday, in his first address after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, claimed that all evidence against the PTI chief was present in the Al-Qadir Trust case. He said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is conducting the investigation based on the evidence. Furthermore, he questioned how the PTI cabinet was kept completely in the dark about the matter.
