In preparation of bringing Shivaji’s ‘Wagh Nakh’ from London, Shinde government, Sanjay Raut attacked like this

Maharashtra’s Cultural Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar is going to Britain on October 3 to bring Shivaji’s ‘Wagh Nakh’. The ‘Wagh Nakh’ was used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to kill Afzal Khan, the commander of the Bijapur Sultanate, in 1659. If everything goes well, this weapon of Shivaji will become the adornment of Mumbai’s museum in November. On the other hand, Sanjay Raut has attacked the Shinde government regarding Wagh Nakh.

Sudhir Mungantiwar says that in the first phase, Wagh Nakh is being brought to India from London. It will be kept in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum in South Mumbai. It is currently kept in the Victoria Albert Museum, London. For this the state government is going to sign an MOU. Minister says that we are planning to bring Wagh Nakh on the same day when Shivaji Maharaj defeated Afzal Khan.

Shiv Sena (UTB) leader Sanjay Raut said that Shiv Sena is the real weapon ‘Wagh Nakh’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. BJP has tried to weaken Shiv Sena by dividing it. In June last year, the Shiv Sena split after the Eknath Shinde-led rebellion against the leadership led to the fall of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government. After this Shinde joined hands with BJP to form the government in the state.

The Rajya Sabha member claimed that Wagh Nakh is a matter of pride and self-respect for Maharashtra. Shiv Sena is the real tiger of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, which has fought all the obstacles coming in the way of the state. He alleged that BJP has made the state bow before Delhi. Raut said what will you do by bringing the weapon which was used by Shivaji to protect the self-respect and integrity of Maharashtra. You have made the state a slave of Delhi.
