Police said efforts are on to identify the victim.
Fragments of human body have been found in Sarai Kale Khan, Delhi. This incident is like Shraddha murder case. However, the police have sent the body pieces for testing to ascertain whether the pieces belong to a woman or a man. Body parts have been found near the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) construction site on Ring Road. Police said that prima facie it appears to be a case of murder, hence a case has been registered under IPC section 302.

According to the police, Sunlight Colony Police Station was informed about the discovery of human body parts near Sarai Kale Khan ISBT Ring Road adjacent to the flyover in the area under construction of Rapid Metro. A senior police officer told news agency ANI, “We had received a PCR call regarding recovery of body parts. The body parts have been sent for testing.”
Police said that on reaching the spot, some pieces of human body and a tuft of hair were found. Police said the crime scene was inspected by forensic experts and the remains found have been sent to AIIMS Trauma Center for further processing. Police said that efforts are being made to identify the deceased.
According to media reports, body parts were found in polythene. When people saw this, people were shocked. It is being told that after the murder, the corpse was cut into several pieces, after which it was thrown in plastic polythene to hide it. At the same time, when the stench started coming, the local people informed the police.
