Jio True 5G Welcome Offer: Customers will get unlimited 5G data, trial starts on Dussehra

Reliance Jio has finally announced the beta trial of Jio True 5G service for its customers. Jio users will start getting the experience of True 5G services from Dussehra 2022 i.e. from October 5. Currently, Jio 5G service will be rolled out in four cities of the country – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. At present, this service of Jio is on Invitation i.e. some selected users from the existing Jio users will be sent an invite to use this service.

Along with this, users will also get welcome-offer, under which users will get speed up to 1Gbps and unlimited 5G data. Invited users will experience the Jio True 5G service and based on their experiences, the company will launch a comprehensive 5G service.

Jio True 5G Welcome Offer

1. Jio True 5G welcome offer is being launched for Jio users with invite system in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi
2. These customers will get unlimited 5G data with speed up to 1 Gbps+
3. As cities become 5G ready, beta testing service will be announced for other cities
4. Users will be able to take advantage of this beta test until the network coverage of the city is sufficiently strong.
5. Under the invited ‘Jio Welcome Offer’, users will not have to change their existing Jio SIM card. Just their mobile should be 5G. Jio True 5G service will be upgraded automatically.
6. Jio is also working with all handset brands so that customers have a wider range of 5G devices to choose from.

On this occasion, Akash Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Jio Infocomm said, ‘On the call of our Prime Minister, Jio has prepared the plan for the fastest 5G roll out for a big country like India. He said, ‘5G cannot be a service that is available to a few privileged people or only to big cities. It should be available to every citizen, every household and every business across India. Only then can we bring about a fundamental change in productivity, earnings and standard of living across our economy.

3 big features of Jio TRUE 5G

stand-alone 5G
This is a stand-alone network i.e. this advanced 5G network has nothing to do with 4G network. While other operators are trying to launch 4G-based networks. Jio’s True 5G will get the direct benefit of this. It has great features like low latency, massive machine-to-machine communication, 5G voice, edge computing and network slicing.

Largest and different spectrum
The largest and most suitable mix of 5G spectrum bands, 700 MHz, 3500 MHz and 26 GHz, gives Jio True 5G an edge over other operators. Second and most importantly, Jio is the only operator to have 700 MHz low-band spectrum. It provides good indoor coverage. In Europe, the US and the UK, this band is considered the premium band for 5G.
