Now Iran is the first Muslim country which is openly talking about taking action against Israel. Till now, many other Muslim countries have condemned Israel, but have not openly supported Hamas.

Now, given the history of Iran, the way it has increased its closeness with Hamas from time to time, it is not very difficult to understand its ideology. Till some time ago, Iran’s Foreign Minister was meeting the leaders of Hamas. There have even been allegations that Iran also played a role in the attack that Hamas carried out on Israel. It is a different matter that Iran has completely rejected those allegations.

However, Iran’s role cannot be taken lightly because its voice is considered very loud in the organization of Muslim countries. The organization of major Muslim countries of the world has been called Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). At a time when there is a war going on between Israel and Hamas, on more than one occasion Iran has talked about hosting a meeting from its side. That means Iran is ready to provide leadership against Israel, it wants to corner Netanyahu’s government at all costs.

The big thing is that even in Saudi Arabia, with whom Iran’s relations have been strained for many years, the leaders of both the countries have had a long phone conversation on the situation in Gaza. This was the first conversation after the trade channel between the two countries was opened again in March this year.
