Kanwar Yatra: Devotees will have to bring ID card with them, Kanwad should be of this size

The Kanwad Yatra is going to start in the country in a few days. Kanwar Yatra will be taken out from July 4 to July 15. Like every year, once again preparations are being made for Kanwar on a large scale in Uttarakhand. Emphasis is being laid on security and other arrangements. In this episode, an important meeting of seven states has now taken place in Uttarakhand. Police officers and IB officers took part in that meeting.

What is the guideline for Kanwar?

It has been decided in the meeting that this time no Kavad above 12 feet will be taken. It was argued that now railway electrification has been done everywhere in Uttarakhand, in such a situation, if the height of Kanwar is more than 12 feet then there can be danger to life. By the way, this time also no restriction has been imposed on DJ during Kanwar. It will be the responsibility of the police to ensure that the sound remains within the prescribed limit.

What is the preparation of the police?

This time making another major change, it has been said that whoever will participate in the Kanwar Yatra, it will be mandatory for them to bring ID card with them. Everyone should have an identity card. It has also been informed that this year more than four crore passengers can come. For this reason, for proper management, the Kanwar Mela area has been divided into 12 super zones, 32 zones and 130 sectors.

Now on one hand faith has to be taken care of, on the other hand law and order has to be maintained properly. Everyone has been appealed to work together for this endeavour.
