MP: Home entry of four and a half lakh people on the occasion of Dhanteras, PM Modi said – in 8 years, the Center has given houses to 3.5 crore families under PMAY
Prime Minister Modi said, “I extend special congratulations to lakhs of sisters of Madhya Pradesh who have become the mistress of your house and a house built with lakhs of rupees has made you a millionaire.”
On Saturday (October 22, 2022) in Madhya Pradesh, on the occasion of Dhanteras, four and a half lakh people have entered their homes under the housing scheme. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also congratulated him and said that in 8 years, the Center has given houses to 3.5 crore families under PMAY. He said, “I give special congratulations to lakhs of sisters of Madhya Pradesh who have become the mistress of your house and a house built with lakhs of rupees has made you a millionaire.”
The Prime Minister said that with homes, people have also got new strength to make their dreams come true, therefore, today is not only the day of home entry, but happiness, new resolutions, new dreams, new enthusiasm and new fortune, in it. Access is also there. He said that today the different schemes of the government make up the “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana” with essential things like toilets, electricity, water and gas.
The PM said that earlier even if a house was declared for the poor, it had to make separate toilets, make many rounds of different government offices for electricity, water and gas connections. On this occasion, PM also told that about 30 lakh houses have been built under the housing scheme and work is going on to build 9-10 lakh houses. He said, “Our government is working day and night to give its pucca roof to every poor. So, today in such a large number, these houses are being built.”
During this, he also mentioned the work done in the previous governments and compared them, saying that the earlier government used to yearn for the poor and used to make rounds of offices, the BJP government is reaching the poor themselves, the benefit of every scheme is given to the poor. That’s why the campaign is running.
He also said that along with fulfilling the aspirations of the citizens, the goal of the Modi government is to save the money of the poor and the middle class. He said, “Pucca houses, gas, electricity, water and free treatment should be provided to all at a fast pace. Everyone should have access to good roads, good schools, colleges and good hospitals. We are working day and night to reach the optical fiber from village to village.
