NASA Artemis 1 Moon Mission: NASA is preparing to launch Artemis 1 Mission on the Moon on Wednesday (November 16). The mission’s SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft will be launched from Launchpad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA has given the green signal for the third attempt to launch the Artemis 1 mission to the Moon. Earlier this mission was to be launched on 14th November but now it has been fixed for 16th November.

NASA is preparing to send humans to the moon again after 50 years through its moon mission Artemis-1. This will be an unmanned mission, in which the Orion crew capsule will be sent to the moon through NASA’s megarocket.

As per information, NASA will have a launch window of 2 hours to send this mission. If everything goes according to plan, the Artemis mission will launch tomorrow at 11:34 am IST.

Under the mission, the Orion spacecraft will be launched atop the SLS rocket. NASA’s objective behind launching this mission is to prepare the ground on the moon for Artemis missions to be launched in the future. According to Essenji, NASA now wants to build a permanent base on the moon, so that astronauts can stay there for a long time.

Artemis 1 mission has been canceled 2 times

The Artemis 1 mission has been canceled twice so far. The first time it was attempted to launch, the SLS rocket’s RS-25 engine developed a fault, forcing it to be postponed. The mission was aborted for the second time due to a hydrogen leak at the quick disconnect interface between the rocket and the liquid hydrogen fuel feed line.
