OnePlus Open Folable Smartphone Launch: There has been continuous discussion for several days about the first foldable smartphone of OnePlus. OnePlus is ready to enter the foldable smartphone market and may soon launch the most-awaited OnePlus Open smartphone. Information about OnePlus’s foldable phone was given at the Cloud 11 launch event held in February 2023. For some time, information related to the specifications, design of the phone has been revealed continuously. Apart from this, pictures of the handset have also been leaked, which have given a glimpse of the upcoming foldable smartphone.

According to a latest report by SmartPrix, OnePlus may launch its foldable smartphone on August 29. The company will first launch this device in its domestic market in China. After this, the handset is expected to be made available in the global market including India and other major markets including the US.

OnePlus Open Features (Expected)

The news suggests that a 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED inner display will be given in the OnePlus Open. Apart from this, the phone is expected to get 6.3 inch AMOLED outer display. The refresh rate of both the screens is expected to be 120 Hz.

Apart from this, the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor can be found in the OnePlus open foldable smartphone. The handset will get 16 GB RAM and up to 256 GB inbuilt storage.

Another tipster SnoopyTech says that OnePlus may make a unique version of its OxygenOS available in the new foldable phone. This customized version has been specially designed for the upcoming foldable smartphone. This version of OxygenOS will be named OxygenOS Fold. It is being said that this OS version is inspired by ColorOS Fold found in Oppo’s foldable phone Oppo Find N2.

According to the news, this foldable phone of OnePlus will compete with Samsung’s upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5.

It is worth noting that OnePlus has recently launched its Nord series latest smartphones OnePlus Nord 3 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G in India.
