Pak vs NZ: Pakistan cricket team lost to New Zealand by 21 runs in the second T20 match, but the team’s star batsman Babar Azam played a half-century in this match also. Babar Azam had scored a half-century against the Kiwi team in the first match also and maintaining his form, he did the same feat again in the second match. In this match, Babar Azam scored 66 runs and after 100 innings of his T20I cricket career, he made a new world record in his name and left behind Virat Kohli along with Rohit Sharma.

In the second T20I match against New Zealand, Babar Azam completed 50 runs in 36 balls with the help of 7 fours and then till he was out, he played an inning of 66 runs in 43 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 7 fours. After this inning, he made a big world record of T20I.

Now in the list of batsmen who have played most 50 plus innings in 100 innings in T20I, Babar Azam has come first while Virat Kohli is at second and Rohit Sharma is at third. After 100 innings, Kohli had played 50 plus innings 34 times in T20Is while Rohit Sharma had done so 25 times. Babar Azam did the feat of playing 50 plus innings 35 times in T20Is in 100 innings. Jos Buttler and Paul Starling are jointly at fourth place in the list of batsmen who have played the most number of 50 plus innings after 100 innings.
