Bats worth lakhs went missing

The theft from the Delhi Capitals camp took place ahead of the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday. According to the information, around 35 things were missing from the team’s kit bag. There were 16-17 bats in it. Apart from this, pads, Thai pads, shoes and gloves were also missing. The luggage belonged to team captain David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Phil Salt and Yash Dhull. Apart from this, shoes and gloves were also missing from the bags of some players.

According to the information, when the kit bags reached the players’ room, they came to know that some items were missing. He informed the franchisee about this. Delhi Capitals had also lodged a police complaint regarding this theft. Realizing the seriousness of the matter, the police took quick action and recovered the stolen goods within two days.
