Tata Nexon facelift: Tata Nexon facelift spotted during testing, will get hi-tech features inspired from Concept SUV Curvv
The company can introduce the 2024 Tata Nexon facelift in the market by August 2023.
Tata Motors has a long range of SUV cars, one of which is Tata Nexon, which is the best selling SUV of its company, whose facelift edition is going to be launched very soon. Recently this facelift edition has been recently spotted during testing.
However, the facelift of 2024 Tata Nexon Facelift (2024 Tata Nexon Facelift) spotted during testing has been seen for the first time, after which a lot of detail of its interior has been revealed. According to reports, the interior of this new SUV is similar to the company’s upcoming concept SUV Curve (Curvv) in which the company is going to offer hi-tech features.
2024 Tata Nexon Facelift: Exterior and Interior
The upcoming Tata Nexon facelift will get a major design overhaul. It will sport a new grille that will be flanked by all-LED headlamps. There is also likely to be a connecting LED strip that will be mounted on the bonnet. The side profile will retain the coupe-like appeal and will get new alloy wheels. Tata Motors will also make changes to the rear design of this SUV.
Talking about the interiors, the Tata Nexon will get some major updates. It will have a new layout for the dashboard. A new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and connected car tech will take center stage. It will also feature a two-spoke steering wheel inspired by the Curvv concept SUV, an electric sunroof and could also have ADAS.
2024 Tata Nexon Facelift: Engine and gearbox
Tata Motors will update the engine options of the Nexon. It will get a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that could produce 123 bhp and 225 Nm of peak torque. The other option will be the 1.2-litre diesel unit that will produce 108 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. With both the engines, the company will offer the option of 6-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed AMT transmission.
2024 Tata Nexon Facelift: Price and rivals
Tata Nexon is currently priced in the range of Rs 7.80 lakh to Rs 14.35 lakh, ex-showroom. The upcoming facelifted model is likely to debut by August 2023 and will command a slight premium over the current prices. This SUV will compete with Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
