U19 World Cup 2024: Defending champion India lost in the final, Australia became U19 World Champion for the fourth time
U19 World Cup 2024 Final, Ind vs Aus: The final match of Under-19 World Cup 2024 was played between India Under-19 and Australia Under-19 team. In this match, Australia defeated India by 79 runs and won the title for the fourth time. Australia had last won this title in the year 2010 and now after 14 years, it once again became the Under-19 World Champion. With this defeat, India could not defend its title and had to be content with becoming the runner-up.

Due to difficulty in batting, Team India could score only 174 runs for 10 wickets in 43.5 overs and lost. The Australian team had earlier won this title in 1988, 2002 and 2010. India and Australia clashed in the final of this tournament for the third time in which India won the first two times, but for the third time i.e. in 2024, India could not repeat its old record and lost. Earlier, India had defeated the Kangaroo team in the finals of this tournament in 2012 and 2018.

Arshin Kulkarni scored 3 runs while Musheer Khan scored 22 runs in this match. Captain Uday Saharan scored 8 runs while Sachin Dhas scored 9 runs in this match. The biggest innings for India was played by opener batsman Adarsh Singh and he scored 47 runs. Murugan Abhishek definitely fought at the last moment by playing an inning of 42 runs, but could not lead the team to victory.
